Helmet Camera video shots from my first SIV course at Mt MacKenzie in Revelstoke. Flying was so sweet, I didn't want to do maneuvers - but with almost 6000 ft of altitude to burn over the lake you can have a lot of fun with maneuvers on the way down. Next time I wanna try a SAT!

  • Thanks guys! Yeah I can barely see my wing with my oversize novelty helmet so I'm pretty much Mr. horizon reference - but I should get a new helmet dare to peek at that crumpled ball behind me, he he

Wish I could have been there.

  • Great vid dan! Nice music too. Try to look up at your glider with the maneuvers, you'll get even better control! wouter

  • Awesome video, Dan! Those stalls and spins look so peaceful -- you must be in perfect control of the glider. Spirals with fisheye lens are surreal!

Don't you ever look up at the wing?
