Saw this guy back around 1997 in Las Vegas; back when "The Joint" at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino actually hosted great concerts. He was opening for Joe Satriani. He was AWESOME! I've been trying to locate his stuff for years until I finally realized I had his last name incorrect. This is great! If you see him, ask him about his taxi ride in Naples, Italy during the Tracy Chapman World Tour. Funny story.

Wow...I thought this was the same guy. I saw him posting on the axe fx forum...he has another vid on here playing nothing but an exe-fx....incredible.

oh, man... i have been trying to find this guy for years. i was mistakingly searching for him under the wrong name, Larry Johnson.... duh???
i have missed seeing Larry LIVE. it used to be great seeing him and Gordon Gaines play (individually). they were both my two favorite guitarists to see in NYC, back in the day.

Hey, my video equipment was pretty ancient at the time to begin with, so I had to be clear on things like that!

I would submit that Mitchell has a different vibe he's working off of than Satriani and Vai. More mellowed out. Satriani and Vai comes at you hard. Satriani has that one song that's slowed down that blew up a few decades back, but it was still a shredder. I love 'em all though.
