Japan China Summit

Pandas, a powerful diplomatic tool for China.

*It has been 10 years since the president of China has visited Japan to hold a summit with the prime minister of Japan.
The summit to be held on May included tough issues such as the food-poisoning linked to dumplings from China,
the heavy security for the Olympic torch relay in Nagano, and the gas-field development in the conflict economic zones in the East China Sea. However, since the death of the Tokyo's Ueno Zoo superstar Ling Ling, a 22-year old giant panda, the prime minister of Japan decided to make a request for China to provide new panda bears for the Zoo. China has been renting panda bears to many countries and became a powerful diplomatic tool.
