Sprunt Media - Get Back to Work

The level of unemployment in the UK is alarmingly high with the Design and Construction industries hardest hit. Mass redundancies and a distinctive lack of jobs for graduates due to funding cuts have been the predominant causes. Our idea is to help unemployed professionals get back to work and kick start graduates into a career they have studied hard for. We already have an excellent model in place, where students have the opportunity to develop their design and technical skills by working on professional projects and gaining practical experience within a well-established London based architectural practice. Our idea is to extend this programme by assembling a team of senior careers advisors and recruitment consultants dedicated to placing our students in jobs. As well as professional training, our students would then also receive comprehensive support, from CV writing to portfolio structuring, tailored to securing a job in their chosen career.
