@TRBUFF That’s a great jam. But my point stands. At 10mins, Mid Ram = good groove, multi-sections, a vehicle for the boys to go off script and get creative on stage. But their other tunes are 3-5mins - so conventional. When they jam for 10mins, some fans think “nice, but that’s enough.” Some lose all interest. But some think “wow awesome, wish they’d keep going! it’s just starting to get good.” Phish is a band for that last group of people. Difrnt approach to music - go onstage & open it up.
@kevinjim33 Stones= greatest "STUDIO" band of all time. Live, the Stones = not so special. Saw'em once in AC 20 years ago. I can listen to whole shows on Youtube (check kg441), even from their peak years. They played the same set list, every show. Jamming is minimal. Waste of talent: good guitars (Keith & co.), so many great songs, yet they played it safe on stage. They could never pull off something like this. Live-wise, Phish is better by a moonlight mile - more like 2000 light years.
I think this has the fastest tempo of any rock and roll song ever recorded! Fucking LOVE THE STONES!Jagger sings this likes he's clawing his way outta the grave! He never even liked the song but ,man he KILLS IT! Exile should be sent out into space so if any ever lands on Earth they will know what rock and roll is supposed to sound like!
well, well, well,... so you had a little roll with your rock did ya? hoo wee, hoo wee baby. This music is part of my genetic code,... I simply tip my hat to the boyz,... and say thank you,... And don't forget: shake your hip babe,...
This was the best Phish set I've ever witnessed in my ten years of going to shows. I want to say publicly that I made a bird call noise after one of the songs, and I felt really guilty for putting in my two cents, and wrecking the vibe of the people in the front, the crowd was en-tranced, and I could've spoiled it. If any one from Phish reads this, tell the band "I'm sorry." That relax your mind song was AMAZING ! In fact the entire festival BLEW MY MIND ! THANKS TO PHISH FOR HOOKING US ALL UP !

@irontonremy The reason this was the best Phish set you've ever seen is because all of the music is written by The Greatest Band of All Time
