  • ly. But we're all European after all. And we really need some visionary man like him, I think.

  • And... I agree with EgoShredder... Where's the next Sir Clive? I'm no British. I'm Italian actual

  • This is pure awesomeness. Really thank you for posting.

  • Where are the next Clive Sinclair's I ask myself, because the UK is just full of financial types and service industry. We NEED new people like Sir Clive to challenge current thinking on everything around us, and to develop new and exciting ways of doing things. I can see no good reason to insult or make a joke of Sir Clive!

  • electric cars were invented by ferdinand porshe

  • Please don't reinvent the bicycle I love it the way it is. Clive seems way too far ahead of his time in alot of things he does, maybe so much so we don't really understand why

  • I also have an invention on PCs (something really radically new), but after seeing this video I am sure I am not brave to start producing it myself. I do not master everything from planning, purchasing, production, sales and marketing. As Sir Sinclair failed with QL (which was a pretty nice computer of it's time), I would probably run into some similar mistakes would turn out fatal later... I should find my "Mr.Sugar" :-)

  • Actually I work in quality for 15 years in different factories.

I always treated Sir Sinclair as a genius, and still it is my opinion (despite I am a "Commodore boy"). But it is really sad to see, how the initial "bad quality" image prevented him to grow (easy to prevent), and it is not enough to be a genius, if you want to sell something.

The electric car was a nice idea, but after seeing it (first time since i hear about it in 1990s), I think it ws more a toy than a real practical thing.
