@peppermann your ex took a car that you built yourself? what a bitch!

@wrig42 Hi there ! No fabrication needed I am glad to say. Just basic tools and a few spare hands from time to time and you have the completed car.
Both car and garage sadly gone now (divorce) and just have by old Ford Capri for amusement ! But better to have loved and lost etc. And I mean the car, not the ex ... he he he . Thanks for watching !!

@ChorltonM21 Great stuff !! Bet it was a hell of a ride ! Ted can drive, and then some. I think he sells most Ultimas after taking people for a spin around Hinckley. I still remember mine ! Genuinely nice chap too. Thanks for watching dude !

@peppermann I knew Ted Marlow in the early 80s when he owned a block paving company. He took me out in his Dutton B+ which had a 3.0 V6 Essex engine. It was fast as **** but probably still not as fast as your Ultima.

Hi there, Nice job. Where did you get the kit from? Or may say it is available for the US?
-
@slspg You can't import a kit car in Canada. You might be able to pass it as a homebuilt depending in which province you are.

I've had a ride in one of these, a bit loud in the 'cockpit' and there's quite a bit of vibration but definitely a nippy little car!!

I just looked up the pricing for this thing on the official website, and is it really 17k pounds!!?? That is, barely more expensive than a Toyota Camry in Australia!??

@lobzdik Ah ha - it's 17k for the basic chassic and bodykit, but you'll need to add lots of "options" like brakes, engine, gearbox etc. I guess if you have a donor car then you could put one on the road for 17k. Mine was closer to 55k (yikes).
Thanks for watching !

I have been more than interested in this, how did you feel the build was? Not too bad?
Great job, looks awesome, and nice garage man.(:

@mitsuevoRS Hi there. Apologies for the delay in replying - xmas catch up time ! The build was quite straightforward, although I needed the "help line" several times a week to check that I had this or that the right way around. No build experience needed they said, and that was pretty much right !
Thanks for watching !
