Took me a second to realise what people meant by pocket. I then thought "YOU CAN'T HOLD NO GROOOOVE (WOAAAHOHHH) IF YOU AIN'T GOT NO POCKET"

@notmyname33 well said

Progression of a musician: 1) No pocket, out of scale, you admire amazing musicians 2) In Pocket, in scale, playing pointless licks at guitar center (with no intention of buying anything), complaining about everyone who doesn't stay in the pocket/scale, make sure everyone knows what you do 3) Learning how to tacfully jump outside the box, listen to jazz, and putting down rock 4) Enjoying the instrument, appreciating everyone's styles.

If I was Wooten I'd of taken my bass off and thrown it at him. How the f%%^ is anyone supposed to follow that?? Music?
-
Dennis is great but when u have a musician like vic u need 2 use ur mind ....in other words he sucks he needs to watch vic with smith to learn how to do music right in da spot...sorry 4 this time my idol...
-
Dennis is fuckin awesome, Still one of the best modern drummers today....so technician-musician....He has played with the best guitarrist and musicians in the whole world, he deserves much more respect people...and Vic well at the same high level..total master..
-
Dennis is always much better in situation where he just supports the music instead of trying to be flashy.
-
@MrVilly101 he's so obviously using a double pedal. he always has. look at his feet
-
@spacemansabs @MrVilly101 At about 3:18 he starts playing double kick pedal.
-
DC always has had a doublebass pedal, if he uses it a lot that's a other question. ;-)
Wish they would both just sit in the pocket for atleast more then 6 seconds!!
