Never Be Enough Time

Just a little something different. It's been a year since I posted a song, so I figured it was about time. If anybody who subscribed for the commentaries is wondering, please don't! I promise to get right back to work after this sanity break!

The song here, written by Joe Grushecky (performed by yours truly), is called "Never Be Enough Time." If you're at all familiar with Pittsburgh music, you're no doubt also familiar with Joe and his band the Houserockers.

I dunno JP, Growing up in Texas and being a Cowboy fan...I got mixed feelings about this one,lol, we had a pretty good rivalry there for a while

Those Cowboy teams had some of the great players. Never rooted for 'em, but always had great respect. Staubach, Too Tall, Drew Pearson, Randy White, all those guys. I would have been as honored to meet any of them as I was when I met Franco Harris during my time in the 'Burgh...

Thanks Dan. Glad you like it. For the audio, I used my MXL 990 mic (the one you see in all my vids - about 80 bucks from Musician's Friend), my acoustic, and a Strat for the little licks, all running through a little 6 channel Peavey mixer and into the PC. The software is Sony Movie Studio. Great stuff. Does it all...

Hit the nail on the head, Jerry !! Thanks for this one. It's what America is supposed to be about friends&family and doing things OUR way. I've heard the Houserockers, just never associated them with Joe... Great voice, good writer, lyrically too.I suppose he's Philly's version of Chicago's Jim Peterick.

And I had to laugh at the thought of you at 9 or 10 years old shaking that hair and playing a tennis racquet guitar to twist & shout !!

We all did !!
