@VictumRoManius im not talking about history that happened hundreds of years ago.The invasion happened 37 years ago...my family's house is in the occupied region...and you actually believe that Greek Cypriots want to go to war? We just want peace and justice and our illegally occupied lands back.In my previous comment i was stressing out that the island was Greek and remained Greek until this day for thousands of years.Im sorry if you misunderstood me or if i wasn't clear.

Some parts of Sweden did belong to us Norwegians, bu the Swedes conquered it back arround 200 years ago. But we dont go arround and whine about it and try to start a new war.

@VictumRoManius if you dont know the situation then i suggest dont talk.Read a bit of history and then express an opinion.Cyprus was always Greek, Mycenaean Greeks were undoudtedly inhabiting Cyprus from the late stage of the Bronze Age, while the island's Greek name was already attested from the 15th century B.C long before the Turks even existed...

I was in Cyprus at this time '73 to '76, a very sad time for Cyprus, the Greek Cypriots should get the north back and stop having to pay the price.

Cyprus had Greeks and Turks fighting each other. Some Greeks tried to occupy the island for Greece, turkey answered with support for the turks and a military invasion. North Cyprus and South Cyprus shoul remain as they are.

The Turksgo to north cyprus, the greeks to south cyprus. Thats how easy it is... but of course some greek fanatics or some turkish fanatics will fuck everything up...
