Guy Negre of MDI Air Car engine that runs on compressed air. Emissions are only filtered air that's cleaner than outside air. 300 bars of pressure in carbon-fibre & kevlar air tanks. Car can travel at 110 km/hr and has a 150 km driving range. Refilling can be done by plugging in at home or at a special high-pressure air station. Dual-energy models use small amounts of bio-fuels that can extend the range to over 1400 kms.

Pollution free vehicle that produces zero emissions. When the car stops at traffic lights, the engine stops so no energy is lost because there's no idling.

"MDI claimed in 2007 that an air car will be able to travel 140 km in urban driving, and have a range of 80 km with a top speed of 110 km/h (68 mph) on highways, when operating on compressed air alone, but in as late as mid 2011, MDI has still not produced any proof to that effect."

That´s from wikipedia to "compressed air car".

It´s a long time runnig scam. There is no need for killers from the oil industry. Pure physics is against competitive air cars (range, energy demand).

With the rest of the cars polluting the air, id be surprised if the little thing could even breath in the densely populated suburbs.

So "since you cannot still buy one" "inventions like this" doesn't refer to the MDI air car in this video. So when did you stop taking your medication?

"almost 2 decades to get the Prius to market" nope, wrong, do not collect $200.

have you even read my comment or are you just trolling here? if at all your the moron here. My comment is to people who think that petroleum is the only form off vehicle propulsion. Where did I talk about the MDI or any scam.....and get your facts in order the prius was launched in 1997 but Toyota had been working on an alternative since the early 80ies (google is your friend) but you knew that ofcourse. I wasn't talking on the release date butt-head.

So a 6hp, 5 mile range, hideously inefficient, ancient tech, appeals to you, then give MDI money so you can join the other investors since 1996 who have lost millions on this SCAM.

Once you realize you have been burned join the other losers at action-group dot co dot cc

By the way it took Toyota 4 years to launch the Prius butt head.

to all the haters here and non believers since you cannot still buy one I would like to say "crawl back under your rock, especially to ignorant Americans who think gas is the only suitable form of fuel. It takes decades for inventions like this to hit the market not 2 years, It took the japanese almost 2 decades to get the prius on the market so stop yer whining. And another big issue are the oil companies that want to use fossil fuel until it's all gone and than maybe look at alternatives.
