One of many wonderful commercials John Cleese did for Compaq Computer Corporation in the mid to late '80s. This is an "alternate version" of the commercial "Trust The Well Known Name" and never actually aired!

A very rare find and a treasure for any John Cleese fan.

    WOAH!

  • You know I hear they are working on this one crazy device that allows you to select things without a keyboard. But for some reason some idiot decided to name it a mouse.

    "I am crying" lol

  • Hm... I feel like Dr. Gumby operated on him recently, and then a proper doctor.

  • oh my gawd eddie izzard stole this piece to portray his neantherthal sketch!

  • Haha 'I am crying' :D

  • If find it hilarious these days that they advertise that Compaq can show sharp text AND graphics ON THE SAME SCREEN!! You usually need TWO monitors to see both text AND graphics at the same time!! OMG!! :)

  • He seems to be channeling Spike Milligan a bit here, specially near the end. Ah, fun.

  • Where's the bloody lancet!
