FRED DIBNAH, MISSING YOU, ORIGINAL SONG..

i am writting another fred song, should be ready october, "bolton born,bolton bred" please subscribe and i will let you know when its on youtube,, alan.
MISSING YOU, FRED DIBNAH SONG , i come from bolton, ..so fred really was my local hero, whenever he was on tv i had to watch him, saw him afew times around bolton on his steam engine and his land rover..and once he came to belmont bleaching (where i used to work) he was after some bits and bats of a old steam generator.. sadly i did'nt get the chance to speak to him....

just come across this little poem on another forumn, and i thought i would post it here.....

He took down
So many stacks
Always with such deep respect,
And as if atonement for the deed,
He perched the church, a steeplejack
And patched the leaks
And fixed the face
Of time, with his
Immortal Grace

i just wanna tell you something too, when i talk about chimneys it say chimleys, and i alway get some stick of the mrs, anyway just watched a video of fred felling his last chimney (onyoutube) , and he says chimleys too.. does anyone else call them the same.. please message me and let me know... alan.

I've been living near Manchester for a year now and have a great interest in Fred (what a geezer!)> I'm moving back to Dorset soon and I feel honoured to have walked parts of Bolton that Fred did. I guess the skyline is so different now - bless. Good show mate!
