NBA Hangtime Can we win by 100 points? Nintendo 64

Jkatz (creepy clown) and I (green alien) deliver an epic ass-kicking in this classic game by Midway.

We do not intentionally use any cheap goaltending to gain or maintain fire.

You guys are amazing on Defense. 8 Points with the slowest quarters at half? I had only shut out the computer once at half, and that was on the fastest quarters.

@thepolacek Thanks. Though, I should point out, we do not have the clock on slowest, we just have it on the default setting, which is halfway between slowest and fastest. On the slowest setting, the scores would me much higher for both teams. Check out the other video (same title but with "2nd attempt" added).

how come the goal tending cheat doesn't work?

I enter it, it verifies it is in. but I still get goal tending violations

@DemomanX614 I am not sure; we do not like using any codes other than "big head" (which does not affect the game play at all) and "show shot %" (which also does not affect game play). With the goal tending code, the game would not be as fun or challenging.

My brotha and I won 254 - 88, granted we goaltended here and there and got team fire...We challenge you to a greater margin of victory w/o goal tending...post pending! :)

You also had the clock on a much slower setting. We have the clock on the standard setting.

I was saying that it is impossible to score 284 points on normal clock setting, as you claim to have done.  It's literally impossible, as it would require scoring a 3-pointer every 8 seconds. If the computer scored 63, as you said, then you would have to be scoring a 3-pointer every 6 seconds when you have the ball.

Impossible.

It just that the game will say I goal tend when it wants to and then it will say goal tending after awhile(and this is with the codes off)

Even the CPU players are guilty of it, but one of the developers admitted that they programmed it a certain way to give certain teams an edge against certain teams.

I gave up on using that code, and just used the Rooftop court one only. Tried the Baby players one once, very funny.

@frankJShark oh and one more thing...the game you played is approximately 65% of the time we had to score 247... so, mathematically, we should be able to do this! Trash talk Trash talk, jk I think its awesome that someone else is still rockin the NBA hangtime! Peace.
