2009 Nissan GT-R at Palm Beach International Raceway. This was only my third time ever on a road course. Car was completely stock with stock brake pads and stock Bridgestone runflat tires. Best lap time was 1:32.0. Any constructive criticism would be very appreciated. Please help me with line, steering technique, helmet color... lol. Whatever will make me faster I'll takeit! I know that I was braking early down the back straight, because the track was minimally damp and I was a little bit nervous about it. Peak speed on back straight was 145mph.
i think your braking is your biggest weakness, but that is typically the hardest thing to get right. but the fact that your braking is off is throwing your line off a little bit. if you are just starting out, i would try something like a miata that doesnt drive itself like the GTR, and it will make you a much better driver. but remember track time is the most important thing. good luck, and I hope you had fun the the GT-R! i know i would love to drive one!
