BBC report (Saturday 9 February 2008):
Blaze ravages London market area Camden Market fire. Firefighters were alerted at about 7.20pm on Saturday.
Flames were reported leaping up to 30ft in the air. Up to 100 firefighters have been tackling the massive blaze.
London Fire Brigade has said the blaze is being brought under control and there are no reports of casualties.
LFB station manager Guy Foster said the fire was centred around Camden Canal Market, where a number of market stalls had caught fire.
Residents have also been evacuated from some houses and flats.
They say it was an electric heater that had been left on, my friends owned the shop right at the front of it all ( G-Heaven ) they lost over £1 million in stock and fittings. But I believe it was on purpose cos now the market is opened up more. It was to get rid of that shop i'm sure!
