Those who complain about the new giru are the ppl that supported the band since the beginning including myself. While music is personal, you have to understand from our old timer's perspective, this band completely abandoned their original fan base. There is a HUGE difference between "experimenting" or "maturing" a sound versus going from slayers (metal) to back street boys (pop) in two albums...

@AnimeCountDown I want...no...we want then ``sold out´´.

Girugamesh IS Girugamesh. Grow up people. What if they want to change their style? Just enjoy their MUSIC. If you just want to leave bad comments about them, then just stop watching this video.
-
Why can't people just shut up and listen to the music? Music is music. And when I hear something that I like, I like it, irregardless of what it was like then and now.

@akhsnik Agreed. They get pissy because if they sign with a big record label they can't call themselves "indie" for listening to them anymore, it's so mainstream to like something because it makes you seem indie, but y'know bands don't care why should they when they haven't done anything wrong?

congratulations, you "fans" who called 'em "Sell outs" are balls deep in failure. They still have that fresh bursting with passion sound. Just makes them more and more impressive.
-
@AnimeCountDown I agree with you entirely. Some "fans" just seem to have a bad case of snobbishism (is that even a real word?), which makes them think a band is their own private property. As if band's sound is anybody but the band's own decision. It's the same with those "fans" who whine about a band going into a big record label. Shouldn't one be happy if their favorite artist gets a shot in the spotlight rather than make remarks of "selling out"? :)

phoda =)
I hate the term "sell out". Girgumesh then and Girugamesh now - it's all good music. Get over it: they grew up. They're allowed to mature as artists and change up their sound.
