... no matter position you're in, you're still just a person. Musically, Incubus are more than just alternative. They've had forays into all kinds of music like funk, punk, metal, hip-hop ... the band shows incredible versatility, and has been able to successfully create albums that are drastically different from each other. They are master song-writers, lyrically and technically. Mike's guitar parts are masterfully executed, unique, but doesn't sacrifice the song in order to show off.

Drums? Jose Pasillas understands the notion of less is more but there is still plenty of room in his playing for creativity. All around, the band exercises a thorough understanding of humans, music, and a wide range of emotions. Boyd's intelligence alone is enough to make any person identify with him, and his open and heartfelt lyrics are an example of just what Incubus is about. Why don't you do some real listening before saying Incubus is all commercial?

i listen to songs that i can understand the words and relate to my life. like this song for say, i graduated yesterday and the rhythm alone even without the lyrics real pours out to you ya know. songs like this is why i listen to music. rather it be incubus, 2pac Ashes Divide, or any other artist. Real music people bask in it.

not EVERYONE is going to like mudvayne.
not EVERYONE is going to like incubus.
i personally, do prefer mudvayne over incubus but a ton of others DON'T and a ton of others DO. and dont get pissed off when people say incubus or mudvayne have no talent. everyone is entitled (that means they have their right) to their own opinion. why would you get into arguments over the internet? hmm? because you have nothing better to do?? just drop it.
