With the HK i use my trigger finger to release the mag, it's much easier than reaching with the thumb.

I love the 1911, but I have to agree with Tim. I would NOT recommend it to a new shooter as a carry gun. Between the grip safety and the thumb safety it is just complicated enough to prevent a stressed out new shooter to fail to operate properly. Combine that with a cocked and locked condition and it is also a bit more touchy to carry. I'm not sure what is so beneficial about the 1911 platform over the others on the table that would negate the negatives of complexity. Same round, same capacity.

If you weren't going to give it a worthy review why include a 1911 at all? I think by including it and then not reviewing it other than to say it's too complicated to use, you're basically saying that the added complexity negates all benefits to the platform. It almost seems you'd be better off not including it and doing a separate review for your 1911.

@TheTacticalTim Thanks for the great video but I have a question regarding those Suresights on your G21. I have read many reviews on people trying to get those sights and the company taking your money and running away with it. To be honest, you are the first person I have seen that has these sights on any gun for general usage.

My question is: Did you experience any problems getting them, how long did it take, and would you recommend it over the XS Big Dots, which are my current ones? Thanks!
