$80 is about the cheapest college book you can buy nowadays. I knew the defendant would win this case the second I heard the intro. Every college in America has the same return policy as the defendant. I once bought a book that was still in the wrapping (much like the plaintiff) that they wouldn't take back because I couldn't find the receipt. Slightly different circumstances, but same outcome.
