UNC Dentistry Project in Malawi_0001.wmv

The University of North Carolina (UNC) Dentistry Project in Malawi started in 2004 through the initiative of UNC students. every year thereafter, about 4 second and third year dentistry students of UNC College of dentistry travel to Malawi for about a month of attachment to Kamuzu Central Hospital, Dentistry Department. During this time , the students will have the chance to help out in the different activities of the department. Cultural and practical experiences gained and shared shall enrich them and thereafter return to the US with a wider global understanding of the oral and dental health situation overseas preparing for a wider role as future dental and oral health professionals.
