Some awfully cool swing stuff going on there if you're looking for licks-tips-ideas. Then the little fingerpicking lesson at the end, c'mon, this is awesome and the cat has been and remains a monster on guitar. True dat, the Stray Cats stuff is more straight rock/minor-pent stuff but the boy can do it all. I loved how he held the pick with his forefinger on fingerstuff, picking with the thumb & bottom 3. AAA+++

Hmmm, if you ever actually listen to Stray Cats hardly ANY have 'roots' rockabilly picking styles like Setzer does here. Wished he would get out of the Chet Atkins shit and show us some of the stuff he actually RELEASED not fools around with at home.

you can also notate fret and string numbers on standard notation.

At which point it kinda ceases to be "standard" notation though, doesn't it? :-/

It is quite standard for classical guitar, particularly string number, cause if you know the note and the string you already know the fret. Fret numbers are used mostly to notate harmonics.
