I've been using Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit for a long time now. And, I wished there was a way to speed up my system even more! Well, there is! :)

It's calling ReadyBoost. And in this Video, I show you can take advantage of your extra flash devices you have, and turn them into a performance gain for your PC!

  • is that meter to the left of your home screen for your cpu work load and your RAM workload?

good vid btw :) but what wil the ready boost actually speed up becasue im thinking of buying some memory sticks and plugging them in the back of my pc then leaving them there to be dedicated to ready boost :)

  • how do you undo readyboost?

  • where can i download it? can you give me a link!

  • @ferdaws2000, Yes. It's just extra RAM.

  • can readyboost help for playing games?

  • @sqeker09 not necessarily, windows only allows you to use 4 GB on your USB, but still you would have a whopping 12 GB of RAM :D

  • @Tokillornottokill2 So basicly what your saying is my laptop has 8gb of ram and i can use my 8gb USB drive and have 16gb of ram? Heheh
