A high-speed transit through excavated land masses, suspended travel tubes, and a green polyhedron with a disorienting thruway.

Video game footage is from RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Soaked!; cheat code "john wardley" (rename a guest) was used to eliminate coaster height restrictions, and code "david walsh" with CTRL-U was used to eliminate screen menus; no mods were used. Music is "The Storm" by Front Line Assembly; Video was made using FRAPS and Sony Vegas 6.

(Update July 2011)
PARK AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD
Quarry Planet
-This file is a simplified version with less scenery than shown on the video. (In order to reduce lag, I had to record the video in 3 separate splices. Each splice had a large amount of scenery for one area, and less scenery for areas not shown.)
-The park was primarily made for this video. It needs more maintenance staff and other alterations in order to function as a proper park.
-I used RCT3 Platinum, which includes the Soaked! and Wild! expansions. The Wild! expansion may not be required to use this park.
-The file is very large, so it may take longer to "activate objects" when loading. It was created in "sandbox" mode.

Use this link to download the park file:

http://www.mediafire.com/?q2da3ic1gh9krn3

Download, unzip, and save in rct3 parks folder.
After clicking the mediafire link above, select "Click here to start download" (I suggest you first close and unclick advertisements also). Then save file to your computer, unzip (or "extract") and save the .dat file to the parks folder in the RCT3 folders on your computer. The "RCT3" folder is usually located in the "My Documents" folder. Please refer to an Atari website for more tech info if needed.

  • I have a question: HOW DO YOU GET THOSE UNDERGROUND LIGHTS RED!?

  • I think tunnel light colors, as well as car & track colors, are adjustable in the standard RCT3 ride editor.

  • so cool...........

  • Since they are too blury to see, I'll tell you.

The other skulls are behind the glass, set up like a collection display case, near the water, starting to show at 3:40.

  • Oh! Sorry. I have no idea.

  • Okay, I'm an idiot; I meant the other skulls, not next to the spines, later in the video.

  • Sure. 0:37. You can see them on the floor.

  • I'm not too fond of it myself; it was one of my experiments. But, here's a puzzle, can you spot the dinosaur skulls? (not the spine.)

  • Personally, I didn't like the ride, but the scenery made up for it.

  • It was built over a span of about 3 months. The squarish terrain might make it look more complex than it really is, but I like designing buildings and landscaping and I got a lot of practice, so the process went faster than when I did "Myth Mountain". The buildings look a little too hollow to me, which may have been remedied by adding trees & peeps, but I purposely left those out.
