Oh my God! It's astonishing that a choir this young would even attempt this difficult work. Even more astonishing that you could give it such an accurate and sensitive reading. You absolutely nailed those treacherous Poulenc-ian harmonies, even when singing pianissimo. Bravo!

Well done, ladies and gentlemen! This is an impeccably sung performance, good tempos, parts very well balanced, and sensitive observance of the score directions. Most choirs who attempt this piece find it very difficult. I'm astounded that this very adult sound comes from a junior high school choir, especially the focused sound from the basses which is rare from young singers. I'd gladly have listened to the Sanctus, Benedictus and Agnus Dei as well. Thanks for posting!
