  • @LiberatedMind1 Oh, and, No, they are not "poison." Our ancestors up until the mesolithic era almost exclusively ate meat. If it was "poison," we wouldn't be here.

  • @LiberatedMind1 No, it's not. That's the number nutritionists have come up with looking at their own clients. It's great that you're doing it right, but your anecdotal evidence means nothing against the massive numbers of people who aren't. Compare this with, say, the Mediterranean Diet, with a near 100% success rate.

BTW, high fruit diets are high in sugar (Fruit actually has A LOT of sugar), and even though it isn't processed, high amounts of simple sugars are still bad.

  • @spoechhacker If it is truly "high carb" then it is impossible that he is healthy. To be high carb means that he replaces necessary protein intake with carbs. Carbs are just energy, that's it, nothing more, so how does ones body build with it? How many houses are built out of gasoline? It's basic biology. Furthermore, would you build without blueprints? DNA is translated into RNA is transcribed into enzymes that make you, so how does that occur without the enzymes?

  • @spoechhacker With that 20% vs. 5% statistic, you verify what I was saying, this isn't about the source, it is about the amount. If you ate a butt-ton of tofu every day, you'd have the same issues. So the problem is portion sizes, which is a no brainer; a portion of chicken is supposed to be 3-4 oz, but most Americans eat a big ol' 7oz breast.

It seems dangerous to tell people to take on a vegetarian, or worse, vegan diet when these are associated with malnutrition, just to avoid protein.

  • @thatswhatshevlogged Yeah, I get that, about the calcium, and I never suggested otherwise. On another note, your logic is flawed, because what other species cooks their food? Grows domestic food products? Preserves food? Brushes their teeth? As you can see, there are many aspects of human dietary behavior that are unique to humans alone.

  • @thatswhatshevlogged "I guarantee you..." That's all in your head, and you sound stupid saying it. I never consistently have dairy in my diet (just when I get a wild hair up my ass and decide to buy a gallon of whole milk fatty deliciousness), and I guarantee you I don't feel any better for it.

My brother used to be a milk drinking machine as a child. After a procedure where his femur was sawed-thru, the orthopedic surgeon said he'd never had to work so hard to get through a femur before.

  • @spoechhacker "Whey protein is made from milk btw." No shit, really?! I don't think you understand the point of a scientific experiment. You would have some people drink shakes made from soy (PLANT) and some drink shakes made from whey (MILK), and see what happen to their bone densities and blood acidities.

Anyway, right now, nutritionists say the best after workout beverage is chocolate milk, largely because of how the body takes in its proteins, like casein.

  • @The321dick The reason its not famous is because of the money the dairy industry would loose. I think the best way to test the theory is try it yourself. I haven't drank milk for awhile and my cholesterol completely dropped. If you're feeling brave why don't you try giving up dairy products for two weeks or even lent. I guarantee you that you will feel absolutely amazing and your energy level will skyrocket.

  • @clunkymonk They aren't saying calcium is bad just when its from milk. Think about it like this... what other species drinks milk after they are babies? none. What other species drinks another's species milk? none. If you are interested try looking up more studies about it. Theres plenty :)

  • @LatinoSoulja1 That may be true but if you're feeling brave why don't you try giving up dairy products for two weeks or even lent. I guarantee you that you will feel absolutely amazing and your energy level will skyrocket. Remember theres alternatives to EVERY dairy product out there and most are found right in your normal food store!!
