Here is a work in progress by Benjamin Bof. It shows use of simple and readily available materials to make a gasifier fueled by charcoal.

  • Exellent!

  • @WorldStove No, the hairdryer would be to force air into the fire chamber. Works much like putting a turbo on a car, or bellows on a forge, more air = more/hotter fire.

I really dont know why hes using store bought charcoal as fuel... the gasification process has an end result of pure carbon (charcoal). I use a rudimentary gasifier (coffee can with a loose fitting metal lid) to turn wood into charcoal for my forge.

  • Muy bueno!!

  • nifty, but does it run using the hairdryer for heat?
