I don't know much about the new Garret machine but I use a Gold Bug and those bottle caps come in the high silver range and sound real good. The gold rings I've found come up in the low rage like foil or a nickle would. On mine ,silver is around 83+ and the gold come in at around 55. Gook luck to ya on your hunts, wish I was out that way, would love to do some nugget hunt'n.

@Wotansvolk1972 There is some cool stuff out here. I recently purchased the sniper coil to see if I can get a better reading. My problem is I don't always listen to the machine I find some of the smallest iron ore. Im going to some gold fields this saturday so who knows I might have some luck.

There seems to be a lot of trash out there. With treasure sparely in between.

@pkrska Actually most people that metal detect find the same stuff but most don't show it. I'm doing this as a learning experience each video you will see me get better

I have two plastic cups I got from McDonalds they use them in the kids meals. when you have the soil that beeps put it in a cup then put some of the sand in the other cup and check and find which has the gold then pour the sand back and forth till you have the gold and very little sand in the cup it is easy to find it that way.
