Thanks for this beatuiful documentary How strange this world is and the roles we play in it. Merata is a fellow tribe woman of mine (yes I know shes deceased) and I got to see glimpses of people I know but the most surprising was seeing my x-husband, he was one of the police there that day. They had been chosen from police that were either Maori or part or those married to Maori or had family who were Maori. That was to keep the violence to a minimum. Shame the police are'nt that way now.
