At the Disneyland Resort "What's Next?" presentation on June 11, 2010, Imagineers revealed new details about the new upcoming Cars Land ride, Luigi's Flying Tires.
Included here is video of Imagineers testing the new "flying saucer" style tire ride vehicles.

@GrintSistah they had this in the old time tomorrow land it was awesome they took it out in 1996 and it was installed into the disneyland ca tomorrowland in the early 50's. Man I must be the only one born then in that decade

I'm pretty sure they had this ride when DL first opend ! It ended up not working like they wanted and was shut down not long after that. So it's awesome that they brought back one of Walts origanal ideas. =D
