@mnmumul its a stealth mission. if u actually play the game, dom complains that he wants to find his wife maria. marcus follows him, and they wanted to do this quickly without fighting. but obviously they find them. and then dom kills her.

He uses his common sense. Sure he can be damn good with weapons, but they are not there to kill everyone, they are there to rescue Maria and activate a device or something to destroy the Loctus
