@magickbass Laraque was pretty young and unexperienced in this fight.

I give this a tie. How can you people say Probert won?
-
@hockeystruth Pretty impressive show by old Probert but this is a draw, so sorry dude (: (:
I still can to see edge Probert but even if this is a draw(hands down) as Probert did well for sure.
Youngster and veteran here against each other, beauty technically bout.
No one was in control.

Probert was older and slowly declining, not at his peak here, but still he actually bettered laraque, probert with the narrow win.

@purple0wnzx Instead of showing true toughness by the ability to take a punch. A good fighter, by my definition, can take a beating as well as he could give one. Otherwise, you're a puncher. And wrestling is not fighting. In a fight, wrestling is an act of desperation by someone who is afraid to get hit or already has and knows they can't win by fighting. That's why I disagree with submissions in MMA. Win by KO or TKO, or it's a draw.

@tetsuokun Get off the crack man. Neither guy won that fight.
-
@SelSun83 go watch a brashear fight those are boring hes a tree hugger, and laraque was trying to keep him down abit so he can get punches in easier
-
Laraque won this. Everyone who says probert wins it is either racist or think they're elitist for being in the oldtimer's bandwagon.

@giannitodaro in his prime probert was THE best, and would have been the best in any era
-
i forgot that Laraque had his hair shaved when he was younger
And Probert had had 2 wrist surgeries on his right hand by that time too. Probert was drafted in 1983 with Steve Yzerman and Joey Kocur. In his prime, this fight would have been over in no more than 15 seconds. Probie was the champ!
