How to catch Articuno Zapdos and Moltres in Pokemon Platinum

The 3 legendary bird Pokemon are available in Platinum. To obtain these Pokemon all you have to do is:

Have the National pokedex which is available after seeing all of the Sinnoh regions Pokemon of 210 in-total.

Go to Pal Park bu surfing off Sandgem Town.

Speak to Professor Oak.

Go to Eterna City and in the house beside the gym speak to professor Oak.

Encounter Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos in the wild - really helps having the Pokemon Radar app available from Jubilife City in the Poketech company store.

Hey :) I don't think da legendar birds r in Diamond or Pearl. Thats kind of a shame because they are awesome Pokemon 2 have. Da only thing I can suggest is dat you trade with someone who caught them in Platinum, or go on 2 wifi & get them that way or use Fire Red/ Leaf Green GBA games & get them there & then use Pal Park in Diamond to trade dem from Fire Red/ Leaf Green. But yeah If you have encountered them in the wild & they run then these tips should help. Good luck!!!

plz help me I have already the National Dex and I want to get he 3 Legendary Birds I use a spinnerak(or something xD) and use Web Shot and I give it a Quick Claw But it hase no effect so plz how can i Catch them??

Hi. :)

Catching theses pokemon are very hard as they keep fleeing the battle.

* My advice would be - keep on going between valley of windworks and route 205 as there is grass on both sides.

* Putting them to sleep or freezing as that'll cary over in the nxt match & makes catching them easier.

*Try catching them at night aswell & use dusk balls for X4 the catch rate.

* Maybe even also try the move 'mean look' cause I think that'll stop escapes or something.

so sorry, didn't realize i had a comment. Erm pal park you have to surf off Sandgem Town - there should be a beach area there where you surf. follow the route and you should find pal park

couple trainers in the water wanting to battle you though - and im sure u need to complete your sinnoh dex by seeing all sinnoh pokemon b4 pal park works but i could just be wrong...
