@AmericanPoliceState I've once got jumped by a gang in null sec. space. I was returning from a fleet op and I was tackled at one of the gates. I proceeded to attack the hostile ship, but when one of his allies warped in I decided to deagress. I managed to jump the gate with only 20% hull left. On the other side of the gate was a 4 hostile drakes. Luckily, I was able to warp away before they got lock. That was a nerve wrecking moment of mine. ;)

@jenjess12 Tech 3 cruisers are, without a doubt, my favorite ship in EVE because of their versatility. Plus, you can put an extremely tough tank on it ;)

DED sites do indeed escalade, very rarely on anything below 9/10 tho.. 10/10 do allways escalade into 3 stages, were the 3d stage drops the real godies ^^

@bonjavie Very rarely indeed. I've never in my life had a ded site escalate. All that I've read in the forums about it is that 'ded sites don't escalate'. Now, it is possible for an anomaly to escalate to a ded site. That I can say for certain since it has happened to me multiple times. Have you had a ded site escalate?

@JonnyPew when i lived in queriouse i had a 6/10 and a 9/10 escalade. and ofc the normal 3 stage 10/10 but i have never tried this in high/lowsec

I have played eve for 2 years buy never ran a Plex or DED.
Are these what you find when you look on the map ... or is it something shown on overview, or do you get them just on D-scan ... or do you have to probe these sites ?
i would appreciate if you told me how "hidden" these DEDs are.

@forthereg The DED sites you find on the map are the 1/10s and 2/10s. There are a few other DED sites that show up on the map that are higher rated than the 2/10s, but I've never done those. The sites that I prefer to run are the 3/10s and up. Those can only be found by using probes.
Also, the 3/10s and 4/10s in high sec are sometimes hard to come by since there are so many other pilots. You might go an entire session and not find one.
