i got this on my forearm!! help!!!

@sportsinjuryclinic I've tried stretching and massaging it. It seems fine for now, but as soon as I run on it, I know its going to hurt.. I might be going to the doctors tomorrow though. :)

Ah, I am surprised that this has not been mentioned in any of my Parkour magazines X D. Well, I have found it now.

This is a really useful video. I found it on the Sports Injury Clinic website. I just have mild shin splints and want to stop it getting worse. I'm going to do some gentle stretching exercises to help it.

can u start exercises to strengthen ur shins plus stretching while the pain is gone when ur walking but it is there when u touch that area or u have to rest until the pain is completely gone even when u touch the shins? i am a bit confused when i walk or jog i dont feel any pain but as soon as i touch the place it hurts a little bit should i wait for it to recover or stretching wont to any bad in mu situation ?????

@sportsinjuryclinic so what should i do ??? keep playing or rest for a while and do exercises to make my muscles stronger like for 1 or 2 weeks and then start again slowly with the exercises going and check my shoes correctly!! the thing is in most bad cases of shin splints people dont get rid of pain by reting but in my case i get rid of the pain after 5 6 days of rest everytime but i think i should focus on strengthening my muscles rather than just resting and hopefully making pain vanish
i wear vans for school and i run but i use running shoes can that give me shin splints?

@crazymanxc Wearing unsupportive footwear even for daily activities can contribute to injuries. Make sure the calf muscles are flexible and strong.

I think I have shin splints, and I haven't really gotten a break because I have gym and I have to run in there. I don't know if it will ever get better, really.. :(
