Hey Nicademus666! I saw that Costello Ripoff Show too! The Rubinoos were astounding ("Please Please Me'!) and shamed Elvis. He cheaped us out, no audience contact and when I left I slugged the dude who tried to sell me his poster as we walked thru the windy exit zone. He owes me a free show, but I doubt he'll ever pay up!!

Love these guys and play them on my show whenever I can. I was turned onto them when I was 12 by a friend of my uncles that forced me to buy their albums, along with Earthquake. He wasn't wrong, just a great band.

I was at their show with Elvis Costello. Berkeley Community Theater... a high school auditorium. 1978 The Rubinoos played much longer than Elvis and the Attracttions... for some lame reason, they left the stage after maybe 30 minutes. We felt so ripped off. The freaking tickets were 10$ what a rip!
