In tribute to West Side Story's 50th! This is a Berlin-based production of the Broadway musical 'West Side Story.' Cast includes Greg Whitney, Marie Danvers, Jackie Lowe, Greg Ramos, Spencer Rowe, Scott Seay, Charlie Brumbly, Jamie Gustis, Todd Smith, Amy Langer & Michael Stever. Under the watchful eye of Alan Johnson and keeping true to the ass-kicking Jerome Robbins choroegraphy and Sondheim/Bernstein score and lyrics. Topped off by the brilliant book by Arthur Laurents, it's easy to see why this production remains one of the greatest musicals ever created.

  • Actually it's an american touring company out of NYC.. My son is Action in this production..

  • Yeah I agree, I don't think broadway would want to put their name on a production with a band like that.

  • @mattbellamy4ever Are you fucking serious? Like, seriously. Are you serious? I mean, I love the movie just as much as the next guy, but how can you say no one can touch it? How about the original broadway show/cast? I'm preeeetty sure that they outdid the movie by a longshot. Your ignorance and stupidity is absolutely sickening.

  • No one can touch the movie

  • I may have seen this touring production. Did this production include Michael Balderrama as Bernardo?

  • wheres the prolouge

  • Whichever one it is, it's terrific.

  • I like it better than the movie.

  • yeah, i thought that he meant the musicians playing the wonderful music sucked....

  • wow

way to shut that guy down

    and congrats to your son

i'm using the music from that production in mine

  • hey lets be easy on the guy... mabey he thought the performers sucked...

  • woah lets not bring schwartz into this, he is a VERY talanted composer who has been succesful in multiple decades. That being said, yes, Bernstien is one of the best ever, this is probably the best score for a show ever, and anyone who thinks his music sucks is either ignorant or tone deaf.
