read here what is midi. mp3 is just compressed wave. Difference between wave and midi is very big. So, answer is - no you cant make karaoke with mp3. if you want to make a midi file, you need to write note by note in music creator software or plug synth to computer, than record what you play on synth. Forget about removing vocal from song or convert mp3 to midi - THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE...

@Webbmaster62 I dont understand your question well. that isnt only timing. that is put text into .mid file without text. in first part of video you put empty .mid file into software and song lyrics. than you need to split words, and after that do timing

@gile1980 Programs who "remove" vocal from song just use filters to do it. But you cant remove vocal 100% and other instruments in song will be affected by filter too. You can convert midi to mp3, because program who doing that operation listen what he "hear" from midi file, and convert it to mp3. that is like you record any sound on computer, but it is impossible to convert in reverse way, because midi is not wave. I dont explain it best in english, sorry
