I have been working in video and really hate what digital has done to it. There just is no way they are going to make a chip that can handle all the shades of color and of shadows. There must be millions of shades of gray alone. Watching an old Black and White movie that has been put on DVD just hurts my eyes watching the background trying to make up it's mind just what shade it wants to be. I would hate to see a beautiful Tucson sunset done on anything other than good film.
