Even though it was a joke, there is no smoke without a fire. Actually Hillary was hinting at something. That Barack Obama has been running for President, like forever, without really caring about anyone. When he worked as a community orgainzer, he actually distributed most of his pal Ayers fund money to far left organisations that would help him later on in his political career. And did nothing for the schools etc in Chicago. He actually voted against setting standards for students in schools

Barack Obama spoke out against the War in Iraq before it began. His 2002 anti-war speech was politically unpopular, but he spoke out anyway. That speech clearly laid out the "reality of invading Iraq." Obama would be an outstanding "head of state" as President. Obama can earn world-wide respect, which will be critical for settling the U.S./international, economic and foreign relations issues. That will be step one.
