Nayagan - Agni

Nayagan - One of 2 tracks laid by Agni for an experimental Tamil album titled ASTANA. This first-of-its-kind album encompassed Tamil songs in the various genres of Western music, ranging from hip-hop, country & western, new wave and rock, among others. Never really took of primarily due to the album being ahead of its time and also partially due to the snub from the only tamil-language and also national radio station because of the use of English words and "poor tamil diction". This was during the period where having a smattering of English words in Tamil cinema songs was the rage, thanks to the likes of AR Rehman and company

I remember this sng was frequently aired in ntv7 end of 90's and obviously the singer is mannin mainthargals favourite composer Sundra.His works are all time favourites,Even in our latest "Agarem" album which comprises the hit song sottu sotta he hv did a remarkable Big Band type of Rock n Roll sng.Only Abang Sundra is experimenting various kind of music in local indian scene.Just like this nayagan song whhaat a great musicians this band comprises.
