  • Great photo montage, Buddy. Very nice chest muscles on 2:20 as well as the rest of your physique. That proves this art does build your muscles very well.

  • Thanks for the comments. Bagua Iron Sphere training is somewhat like an ancient form of kettle bell training designed to produce core strength for martial power. Many people today in the internal systems who mistakenly believe Qi will help them in self defense have lost sight of the fact that "old school" internal martial artists developed both internal power and external muscle to balance their abilities. At 64 I still work on both.

  • 64 years old, John! My God you are in great shape. You don't look any older than 40. JEEZ! I'm actually a little jealous. In fact, I'm very jealous LOL

  • In the photo you mention I am about 45. I am presently 64. The photo on the home page is me at 63. Sorry for the mis-understanding. Still in pretty good shape despite all the combat injuries from Body Guard and stunt man days. Our training can keep you young and flexible for a long time past 60 at least it did for my teacher and his father and grandfather who all loved to be over 100. I am shooting for 150!

  • Thank You your training dummy looks very good for learning to get around the arm and attack.

  • Oh, I know it was old. No need to apologize. Still though, John! WOW! I still think you loom great. I do like these type of arts and practices. Maybe, you'll make it to 170.

  • Oh, you don't have to apologize. I knew that was an old photo and even at 45. DAMN! You are truly a master. You are the greatest and an inspiration. You have training tapes available, right?

  • Amazing martial arts training video and I enjoyed the quality. I want to show you this style of training to you. - Jeet Kune Do Dummy - just do a search for the martialarm in youtube or google.
