  • What a surprise, a Genesis clip that ends up in a discussion about old vs. new. Well, if you don't like Phil Collins-era Genesis, then WHAT are you doing here? Just go away and take your venom, hate and whatever else you have with you, it's boring, we don't care (anymore) about it.

  • Holy shit - He said "orientated". Phil, you're English! You should have a better grasp of the English language!

  • @Kruegerisgod

I guess their development was just logical. They lost Gabriel and Hackett as musicians and composers. Phil doesn´t have that special Gabriel intensity and Rutherford´s guitar - well lets talk about something different.....

  • @anonymusum I am a fan of both those albums and a fan of Phil Era of Genesis and Peter's Era but I can see why you don't like Phil's Era. I disagree with you on those albums but I respect your opinion. My favorite are with Pete too you know

  • @Kruegerisgod

Ok - you´re right, those were albums somewhere in the middle. But not to compare with the Gabriel era.

  • @anonymusum so you hate A Trick of the Tail and Wind & Wuthering too

  • I just hate the Collins era of Genesis

  • @LAYNESTALEYISAGOD ..actually at both of you having the truce..Genesis isn't "different" era to era..compare "Driving The Last Spike" or "Home By The Sea" to the epics from Peter's time like "Suppers Ready" or "Cinema Show". The reason is that they all collaberated, all of their solo stuff is very different..no sappy love songs by Genesis, I guess the closest was "Hold On My Heart". It's all brilliant, fantastic music and thoughtful emotion provoking lyrics..imo best band there ever was.

  • @KP258 ha!!! ;) i love the look on his face!!

  • wow this song sounds like asshole
