stop chasing fairytales like scarface and rap videos. the reality is we became our biggest obstacle letting the media decide how you should act, what you should wear and what to desire. Nobody wants to stepup and be a man stop taking the easy way out and following everybody else. Black does not mean "everything bad in the world" like the history book and dictionary states. That kid is somebody's son grandson maybe even brother or nephew. A PERSON not a NIGGA! realize the lies weve been fed.

I'm White. When I was a kid my favorite artists were Black ... for instance, Fats Domino. But there's one thing I can say about Fats: He never sang a song about drugs, he never sang a song that glorifies guns, and he never encouraged children to become Gangstas.
And until the Black community in Northern Calif recognizes this, the murders will continue.
Blacks are STILL slaves! Only instead of having White owners, this time it's at the end of an mp3 player.

Heartbreaking. I'm glad the dead aren't just pushed out of memory the minute they die. Hopefully (wishful thinking?) these shirts will remind folks that there are things to be changed. Just looking for the silver lining...

In the bay now a days it's a fashion statement in the hood to wear an R.I.P shirt. Damn shame

True but there comes a certain point in time when you're able to recognize right from wrong regardles of how you're raised. Someone has to break the cycle and strive for something better.
I don't know whether to consider this a good thing or shake my head at the fact that they consider this a normal part of life. If you have 5 or more R.I.P shirts in your wardrobe you might want to rethink the environment you live in.
