An impromptu jam session at Euphoria Tavern. Poor quality, shaky-cam video is the only record of this historic event. Euphoria was a popular hot spot for regional and national performers. Portland, Oregon 1974.

Amazing! It has been years since I've seen pictures of Alan Gaylor or Scott White or most everybody in this video... I can't wait to see the next video that pops out of the woodwork! Yes, Mr Goatee, Entropy Service had been playing for about 3 years in Portland and Seattle (and Oly and everywhere in between -- we opened for Albert King in the Tacoma Dome -- yow!) and we were about to move to Boston to make it "big" . . .

@PeterSLangston Glad u r well and still kicking! I was an impressionable hippie when I came to PDX and saw the 'Portland Zoo' and ur psychedelic tape efx. U inspired me to experiment with audio and I later became PD of KBOO and got to know everyone. I managed to save a few nuggets of sound and video here on YT. Check out my 'Willyrein' channel. Whatever became of ur girl lead singer "Charl' I think.

It sounds like you missed the big Portland Zoo reunion at the Crystal Ballroom June before last... It was a trip! Tempered by the death of Gary Ewing a few months before... But Sharyle was there, and so was half of the old Charix crowd!. Next June there will be a Puddle City Bluegrass Band reunion in Portland. . . Sharyle will be there, too! Be there or B^2... -=[P]=-

Nice find. In addition to Sunnyland and Upepo, I also see members of Moonstone (Cal Scott, Pete Dierhog), and yes, Peter Langston -- was he playing in Entropy Service then? Plus Chris Brandt, Scott White, John Goldman, Alan Gaylor, Michael Strickland, and others I don't recognize. Viva Nostalgia!
