This is a before and after comparison of the hooter whistle on the 315. The second pass was made after a little adjustment to the whistle.

@Chatzi473 I don't know which one that could've been because neither 340 or 41 have/had a single chime hooter.

well it is a single chime hooter whist just like the Eureka & Inyo have. The hooter belongs to one of the engines at Knotts Berry Farm and 315 was able to use it for the week. It would of been what she would of had when she was built.

The hooter sounds a lot like the hooter on the Eureka & Inyo.
