Yeah bobcats don't get even close to that big and their tails are tiny not to mention they are usually darker brown or spotted compared to a light tab of a mountain lion

@TheMisticalpip bobcats have short tails (hence the name bob cat, meaning the tail looks like its been bobbed)... mountain lions have exceptionally long tails... mountain lion are 150lbs... bobcats are 25lbs. It doesnt matter in what region this is, you may know a lot about animals, but not about these two

@wolveshockeyrs bobcats have long tails as well but the problem is that it was night i know alot about animals but you would need an expert to prove that it was a moutain lion depends on where this place was if i knew that i could tell you right now that its a mountain lion or a bobcat also moutain lions tails are comonly shorter than bobcats oh well does it really matter?
