In the midst of one of the greatest comedy films of all time, there is this one serious scene. Ernie Hudson (Winston Zeddemore) delivers probably one of the single greatest performances of a character ever, given the context that this is one of the only scenes where everything is serious. He was a rookie actor surrounded by some of the greatest comedians of the 80s and managed to pull off this scene while driving the Ecto-1

  • REVS 7: 12 - Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, [be] unto our God for ever and ever. Amen

IT WAS 6-12 THEY MEANT TO SAY...

  • @Oeagrusson most bibles are under copyright (which is ridiculous) I've always wondered if that is the reason they said the wrong verses and made up a 2nd part of the verse (the seas boiled and the skys fell)

  • @theambassadors wow i never realised that was made up , what i remember mostly about Revelations is the devil arrives on earth and all nations fight him. the devil is a 4 headed dragon

  • @TURBODORK2 in revelation the antichrist arrives on earth and rules it through a one-world-government, THEN the devil possesses him and for the most part the nations are on his side until Jesus comes back and takes him down... with a proton pack (my translation)

  • During pre-production, this sequence was used as an audition scene for actors who were auditioning for the role of Winston. :)

  • Haha yeah, I love the music in this.

  • @wimblewomble21 i know i saw that too...creepy

  • the fact that the world trade centre towers are still erect in this scene makes it even more creepy

  • reminds me of the scene in the twilight zone movie where dan akroyd is like.. you wanna see somthing scary? haha

  • based on this scene, i think if you could remake Ghostbusters (only in theory). Seth Macfarlane would be good as Ray.

  • Oh man, I get chills!

The dialogue along with the scenery and soundtrack truly gives the viewer a sense of foreboding. Something ominous and unknown is dawning in the horizon, can you feel it?

  • @durburgle Same as me - this scene has such gravitus. It is so good to know others feel the this way about this scene.

  • @retrog33k i have seen song online. the part is only 20 sec long. its called ghostbusters bridge muisc.
