We at http://www.italianbeandelight.com sell the Yama Vacuum Coffee Maker, the perfect syphon coffee stovetop brewer with a capicity of 5 or 8 cups for the perfect gourmet drip coffee. Cheaper than other vacuum coffee makers like cona, hario or bodum santos, this yama vacuum brewer brews coffee with a great body, but without the sediment you would get in a French press. It has a longlasting cloth filter that fits over the metal filter assembly and should be replaced each year. The lid doubles as a stand for the funnel (top glass part), and it comes with a spare cloth filter and a burner wire grid for use on an electric stove. The glass is labelled on the bottom as "Heat-Resistant Yama Glass". The brewer is easy to use. The rubber gasket between the top and the bottom -the flange on it makes the creation of an airtight seal (and the separation of top and bottom when the coffee is brewed) much easier. The 5 cup model is fine for 2 people. For more people you should rather prefer the 8 cup model. We compared the Yama vaccum brewer with the bodum santos vacuum brewer. Using the same coffee beans, same grind, the brewed coffee tastes different: Produced with the Yama vacuum brewers, the coffee develops its aroma to the fullest.

  • Great video, thanks for explaining the stove top version. That is such a beautiful coffee system. I think the fun thing about the non stove top version is I think it'd be fun for guests to put the system where everyone can watch easily.

  • that is very interesting, I have never heard of a vacuum coffee maker. The standard american coffee pot, I use the french press, but a vacuum brewer? that is TOO cool. Nice I must say. Thank you for the demonstration, and thats a great tip for keeping the milk warm to not cool the coffee down. Have a great day.

  • @psycl0ptic Easy as you can imagine, at the upper end of the funnel there is a cloth which prevents to get the coffee ground down into the lower chamber after brewing.

  • Good morning! Enjoy your coffee.

  • I bought it, it really works as shown in the youtube

  • peace, love, light, dance, freedom and understanding

    Greetings from MyThai

  • Is it possible to get this in Seattle?

  • Good video, that looks like a good coffee maker, thanks! :)
