二胡演奏家劉揚參與「陳佐湟」音樂會 Erhu virtuoso Liu Yang performs with HKCO

陳佐湟獲美國密歇根大學頒發的第一個樂隊指揮音樂藝術博士學位，成為中國首位音樂藝術博士。作為現任北京國家大劇院音樂藝術總監，在國際上享負盛名。音樂會邀來獲紐約時報­評為「第一流的小提琴家」李傳韻演奏《引子與回旋隨想曲》，而樂團中胡首席劉揚將演奏《紅梅隨想曲》，敲擊助理首席王東亦將參與演出《龍騰虎躍》。

二胡協奏曲《紅梅隨想曲》由吳厚元所作，是根據著名歌劇《江姐》的音樂主題創作而成，由於是根據《紅梅贊》的唱腔改編而成，所以名為《紅梅隨想曲》。它非常適合二胡的音樂­表現力，能把二胡的悽美和柔婉表現得淋漓盡致。

Chen Zuohuang was awarded the first ever Doctorate in Music Arts by the University of Michigan, and was the first holder of such a degree in China. Currently the Artistic Director - Music of the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, Chen enjoys great renown on the international music scene. For this concert, the HKCO has also invited Hong Kong's very talented Li Chuanyun, described by The New York Times as "a first-rate violinist", to play Introduction et rondo capriccioso. Also performing in the concert are the Orchestra's Zhonghu Principal, Liu Yang, and Assistant Principal in Percussion, Wang Dong.
